Your brain isn’t
working against you.
It’s trying to protect you.
Sometimes the patterns your brain learned to survive anxiety, trauma, illness, pain, loss, or overwhelming stress no longer fit the life you want to live.

I help adults throughout Texas understand what their brain and nervous system are doing, why those responses developed, and how to begin creating a different way forward.

You are not broken.
Your brain learned
And you survived.
Brains continue either relearning and strengthening the old or learns a different path. This one you chose.

You may have spent years wondering why you keep reacting in ways that don’t make sense. Maybe you’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, and have even worked in counseling to understand your past—but you’re still stuck. I help people understand what their brain learned through trauma, stress, illness, or major life events and, together, we help it learn something new. My goal isn’t just symptom relief. It’s helping you regain a sense of agency over your life. I, too, have been where you are and with a little work you will find both the empowerment and peace you desire and deserve.

I provide therapy to address PTSD, depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, ADHD, adjustment, parenting, major life, crisis, acquired disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, career change and re-entering the workforce. I develop personalized cognitive strategies to address issues related to intimacy, emotional regulation and issues with .family of origin.
I am here to walk with you as we navigate old hurts and trauma, new normals and new beginnings. Together we will untangle the knots that keep you stuck as we employ your innate gifts and strengths to best serve you .on your journey to empowerment and peace.

💙 One More Thing...
If what you just read made you think,

"That sounds exactly like me..."
You're not alone.
Many of the people I work with tell me they spent years believing something was "wrong" with them before they understood what their brain was trying to accomplish.
Understanding doesn't solve everything.
But it often replaces shame with curiosity.
And curiosity is where change begins.
